The love for language, flair for creative writing and talents for Arts and Crafts was evident in Dr. Randeri from school days but she did not choose to make a career in those fields. She loved to work with people hence initially social work and later education administration she chose as her fields of work. She loved to have challenges and was always keen to do new things. Her first job was as a Nursery School Social Worker but more interestingly first time ever a position of a school social worker was opened up by an educational institute in India and a new field of employment was created for trained social workers.

She was the first Dean of Students to be appointed by any Indian University. She spent a decade at SNDT Women's university, Mumbai laying down the foundation for Student Services dept. and preparing a job profile suitable for Dean of Students position in Indian Universities. During this period she interacted with many universities who were opting to create such positions in their universities. Her final destination in the career was being a founder principal of women's polytechnic of SNDT women's university who was given the task by the Government of India to be a trail blazer for polytechnic education for women in India.

Dr. Randeri after starting the polytechnic nurtured it for twenty years till her retirement. Dr. Randeri 'created' professions out of many vocations and expanded the scope of polytechnic education or middle level technical education which created links within the already existing technical courses or making them entrepreneurial , independent professions. Her talent for Arts and Crafts drew her to introduce courses in Fashion Design and Jewelry Design. These were introduced for the first time in India. The introduction of  paramedical courses like Ophthalmic Technology and Medical Laboratory Technology at Polytechnic level gave the young aspirants to learn a profession by being in the mainstream educational system. Typing and shorthand diplomas given all over was turned into Office Assistant diploma by introducing several elements which made a graduate indispensable member of the administrative team in corporate companies. The part time hobby course of Interior Design was raised to the status of full fledged Interior Design training by advancing its contents and extending duration. Dr. Randeri 's study of Ph. D. in Administration and Organization of Higher Education  from USA facilitated her to introduce innovations in teaching and examination methods suitable for Polytechnic education. Today those have become norms. Before she retired she had pleasure to see that P.V. Polytechnic received the honor of the "Best Polytechnic in Maharashtra State".

Dr. Randeri has been recipient of many Awards. On the eve of her retirement in 1996 she received "WOMAN OF THE YEAR" -1995, as an outstanding educationist from Ladies' Wing of Indian Merchants Chambers, Mumbai. She also received "WOMAN OF THE YEAR" 1995, Award from Bombay Chapter of Zonta International Club for Women.

The Educational Institutions in U.K. were visited on account of grant from British Council.

While following the career Dr. Randeri had not forgotten her commitment to serve the society in spare time. In the initial years of Doordarshan at one point of time she regularly planned and anchored the programs in Gujarati for women on Psycho-Social subjects.

After retirement Dr. Randeri has turned to the activities related to writing combining it with her deep interest for research . Dr. Randeri loves language, words, its etymology, its sound etc. The first result was the book of "INDIAN NAMES- from Classical to Contemporary" which has inspired present website of "ULTIMATE INDIAN NAMES'.
